I have a Master of Science in Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney – one of the few postgraduate qualifications worldwide in coaching psychology. The program is recognised as a world leader in the development of both coaching theory and its real world application. The main focus is on coaching in business and organisational settings and enabled me to be a skilled coach, capable of coaching in an extensive variety of settings and with a wide range of clients including executive and management coaching.

My post-graduate coaching specialisations include complex adaptive leadership, collective leadership, leadership presence and mindfulness. I have received over 500 hours of coach-specific training. I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attend national and international conferences, courses and webinars focussing on coaching and leadership development. I receive regular coaching supervision from a qualified supervisor in order to engage in reflective dialogue and collaborative learning for the development and benefit for me as coach and my clients.

I am a credentialled member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and was on the board of the ICF Australasia Chapter from 2013 to 2017, serving as Chapter President in 2016-17.

My practical business background in leadership roles dealing with change management and programme delivery is blended with my experience as an executive coach.

My corporate background includes a solid grounding in professional services with KPMG in New Zealand and Brazil before working in the private sector at a senior level for a variety of organisations across a range of sectors including infrastructure capital projects (London Underground, Balfour Beatty), telecommunications (Downer); railway construction (Metronet), civil construction, heavy engineering, manufacturing, business development, broadcasting (Radio New Zealand), and not- for-profit service delivery. Having lived and worked in the UK, Spain, Brazil, Chile, and Australia gives me first hand understanding of the intricacies of working with different cultures.

In my earlier career I completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University and Graduate Diploma in Not for Profit Management from Unitec. I retain my Chartered Accountant qualification with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

My comprehensive coach specific training combined with corporate experience allows me to provide effective coaching for both senior leaders and emerging talent. I am willing to adapt and flex my approach and deliver coaching engagements as required by your organisation. This includes aligning my coaching to your strategic plan and language, including your organisational behaviours and values.

I am committed to sharing insights and themes with you through reporting and regular meetings so we can assess needs, progress and impact that enables you to shape the direction of your leaders’ development.
